The North Forge Pathfinders Program is about sincerely listening to your clients for an understanding of their problems and 'a day in the life.' Eventually, one sees a pattern and a common problem emerges. This updated website is the outcome of my efforts to listen and offer a solution for property owners with their own trees. I've spent a lifetime with my family's trees - so I'm completely with you.
Thanks for everyone's feedback and the great conversations. I didn't realize I pass through people's thoughts when they are camping or hiking. I love 'reading the forest' as I find stories that otherwise remain unknown. There is both a 'seen' and an 'unseen' forest that resonates with me. I will give thought to your comments and suggestions.
I have a simple question to ask of my longest term clients. I'd like to know what is most valuable about the services that I provide? How am I most helpful to you? At times, I can get overwhelmed with calls. I'm curious to know so I can focus on what I do best and provide the most benefit to others struggling with their trees.
Today I began a most challenging journey as a Founder in the North Forge Pathfinder's Program. Words can't entirely describe the immense heaviness of the yoke you place on your shoulders when you start clearing a path through a dense forest where no one has ever travelled. You simply have no idea what lies ahead or what you may encounter.
As the Last Rural Forester, it can be challenging to keep up at times. Please use the Contact Form on this website. The new system prioritizes local Manitoba clients from other messages. I hope the content channels will inspire others to take this path through the rural forest,.
My dual career paths of forestry and creative communications have finally converged. The business name and new website celebrates the Shelemy family lineage of rural foresters from the ancient forest village of Liski, Ukraine.
For much of my life, I’ve felt a powerful pull between two paths and years ago, I had to make a difficult choice. Yet over the years, there's been this puzzling feeling I would encounter the other path again – not far away in L.A., but here in the stillness of the rural forest - and somehow, the two paths would converge. Today, I understand the greater purpose.
